KeAndrea is a dynamic and attentive instructor from the United States of America. She gets a lot of pleasure out of helping others, and this is a huge part of the reason she decided to go into teaching. She takes great joy in helping students learn to communicate with others, and in doing that, helping them learn to communicate with themselves. She has a neutral North American accent (without a strong regional dialect), but she enjoys occasionally teaching students new cultural idioms and colloquialisms. Her goal in the classroom is not only to improve the students’ formal language skills, but their conversational skills as well, increasing their confidence in all areas of the language. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys volunteering, trying new restaurants, and occasionally taking to the stage for some creative expression.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from an accredited university in the United States. She also minored in Korean Language & Literature. She has several English teaching certificates, including a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), for which she received a Pass A grade.

She has several years of experience teaching English to students of all ages and levels in both Europe and Asia. In addition to her time spent in front of the classroom, being herself a student of a foreign language (more than once) has helped her to understand some of the challenges faced by language students. With this empathy and experience, she is better able to connect with students and work at a pace that is best for them.
